Start begins the clocks. Only the current side’s clock runs (like chess). If a side reaches 0:00, that side loses.

• Goats start in 4 stacks of 5 (total 20).
• After Start, goats cannot regroup/stack anywhere (destination must be empty).
• No one can enter the center.
• Move: 1 step to an adjacent connected node.
• Capture: lion jumps over 1 adjacent goat to the next node (must be empty).
• Corner rule: goats on 4 outer corners cannot be jump-captured.
• Goats win by trapping BOTH lions in the two nodes next to ONE corner (see Guide).
